Welcome to the Phoenix Players website.    We put on our main productions, three or four a year, at the Kings Theatre in Kingsbarton Street, Gloucester (www.kingstheatre.uk2k.com).  We try and put on plays that challenge us but also give our audience an enjoyable theatrical experience.  These can be classics such as A Doll’s House through to modern comedies such as Ladies’ Day.  Please come along and see what we do. We usually participate in the Gloucestershire Drama Association's 1-Act Play Festival and this year was no exception.  The festival was held at the Kings Theatre from 8-11 June 2011 and we submitted a performance of "Hyde Park".  This was well received by the adjudicator and the play, the cast and the director received key awards: Best Play Best Director - Phil Jones Best Actor - Darren Skinner Best Actress - Dawn Hemmings Best Supporting Actress - Seonag Giddings  Not sure we can match this again but, no doubt, we'll try.
